Through the years, Mr. Jacobi’s dream took hold in Buffalo’s heart and appetite. The Elmwood Avenue restaurant expanded to more than just a pizzeria, with multiple dining rooms, a full-service bar, and a banquet hall, which at one point was home to the Elmwood Village Disco. It was “the only place you go up to get down”! The family-run business, which was eventually taken over by the three sons, Joe, Jimmy, and Jeff, was home to familiar faces and even everyone’s favorite local radio celebrity, Bea. By 2015 the table was set for a big change! With the resurgence of downtown Buffalo, we opened our new location on Mohawk St. We brought with us our history, family, delicious food, great staff, and a bit of our old neighborhood charm to the growing area. Our focus is to continue at our Mohawk St. Location, with what our father started on Elmwood in 1953; a great family restaurant, where everyone feels right at home.
