“It takes the traditional New England food everyone wants and gives them flavor they’ve never thought to put it with before,” Andrea Lazor, general manager and co-owner, said.
The menu features items like oyster sliders with pickled watermelon and red curry aioli, a coconut chicken sandwich with mango slices, a crab cake sandwich with mango and avocado, jerk chicken wings, a lobster roll, calamari, and tropical chicken and beef skewers.
In addition there’s a raw bar with local oysters, littlenecks, lobster claw and shrimp along with ceviches like tuna and avocado, and scallops, cilantro and lime. There’s also a choice for “The Reef Shellfish Platter” which includes six oysters, six shrimp cocktail and six littlenecks along with a bottle of Veuve Clicquot.
“We have a wonderful, unique drink menu,” Lazor said. Among the drinks offered are the “Champito,” fresh mint and muddled lime, rum, a touch of housemade simple syrup and topped with champagne, and the “Dude where’s my boat,” which features white rum with grapefruit Giffard, a cherry herring drizzle and comes with a disclaimer to “check in with us after you enjoy.”
The restaurant also intends to have live music daily. They are cleared by the city to have music inside until 1 a.m. and outside until 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, 10 p.m. the other days of the week.
“We plan on having live music happy hour from 4-7 p.m. daily,” Lazor said.
