The City of Bloomington's first venture into the golf business was Highland Park Golf Course. Built in the 1930's, this golf course offers old, mature trees lining each fairway - making accuracy an absolute must on the 5,539 yard course. In addition to the narrow fairways, small greens make for a challenging round. USGA Course Ratings and Slope Ratings are 66.9 and 111, respectively. A hilly terrain with a beautiful creek meandering through the course makes this a very scenic golf course. Golf Digest Places to Play has given Highland Park a 3 Star Rating. The full-line Golf Shop carries a great selection of golf equipment and apparel at discount prices.
