Charleston Pirate Adventure Cruise – (offered May – September)

Take your kids on a 1.5-hour swashbuckling adventure on the Historic Ashley River aboard the Black Ghost Pirate ship!  Your kids will each be given their pirate name and pirate gear as well as learning how to talk like a real pirate. Once aboard the 45-foot Black Ghost, the cruise is full of non-stop – full of songs to sing, swabbing the deck, learning how to read the treasure map – but they’ll also have to get the stolen key to the sunken treasure chest back from Sneaky Pete- this is where we’ll defeat him with our water cannons – oh, and we ALWAYS win!

Pirate School Cruise – (offered October through November on weekends only)

Summer is over and Pirate School is 1.5 hours in session. Your kids will become part of the Black Ghost crew – learning pirate lore and how to speak like a pirate. It’s an education in pirate life on the high seas of the Ashley River. They’ll learn navigation, map reading, and all things pirate as they hunt to find the hidden treasure under the sea.  Once the treasure is found, it is shared with the whole crew and each child returns to land with a diploma signed by the Captain and First Mate.

Important Information

• 1 responsible Adult is required to accompany children on the cruise
• Pirates of Charleston reserves the right to cancel any trip in the event of steady rain, thunderstorms, high winds, or any condition that the Captain deems unsafe. Also, minimum capacity must be met to cast off. We will attempt to notify you at least one hour prior to check-in when possible. Cancellations are at the sole discretion of Pirates of Charleston. If we cancel your trip for any reason, we will reschedule or issue a refund.
• Cancellations: You have until 48 hours prior to your pirate adventure to make any changes to your reservation. No cancellations are allowed within 48 hours of your departure time as space is limited and those spaces have been reserved for you. Your credit card will be charged the full amount for unsold seats.
