Description
Abettor Brewing Company has been the cumulation of a five-year journey by craft beer entrepreneur Tyler Montgomery.
Montgomery first contemplated the idea for a small brewery while working on his initial craft beer business, Brewer Magazine — an educational and business resource for craft brewery owners.
The building was originally a Buick Dealership in the '50s. We sit on a historic cobblestone road called Depot Street. 5 presidents stopped at the Train depot during campaigning.

Abettor Brewing Company eventually opened to the city of Winchester, Clark County, and surrounding counties on April 12, 2019. It has made a mark with unique beers from Montgomery’s homebrew experiences — its flagship resting on the brand “Pale8”, utilizing a favorite ingredient by Winchester locals and Central Kentuckians alike.
