Behind the Brand
Five Star Burgers, locally owned and operated since 2010, has been doing things differently. We start our burgers with all-natural, hormone and antibiotic FREE beef since 2008, long before it was cool. We use the finest Black Angus Beef from ethically-treated animals and even locally source our bison. All of our green chile is from New Mexico's chile patches, helping support local farmers and ensuring that their way of life is not lost to big industry. We grind our meat daily to ensure that it is consistently tender and delicious. And whenever possible, we turn to local vendors to supply our vegetables. This attention to detail has lead us to serving fan favorites such as the green chile burger, the Taos burger, bison burger and our signature side dish, green chile strips. Serving plenty of vegetarian options as well as gluten-free buns and homemade turkey meat, 5 Star Burgers is the dining experience you must experience!
As a further testament to our environmental commitment, we recycle our frying oils for bio diesel fuels. In addition, our kitchen runs on energy efficient equipment and our plastic cups are all made from recycled material. Good for the environment and better for us all!
We offer a daily Happy Hour from 4-6pm and a Happy Wednesday Hour from 4-9pm. Come taste the creative libations of wine-inspired cocktails like mojitos and margaritas or choose from over 12 local brews on tap.
