Behind the Brand

Sheehan Winery represents the culmination of a lifelong dream by Sean Sheehan to open his own winery, with roots in the South Valley of Albuquerque, we opened in 2015 as New Mexico’s smallest winery.

Thanks to hard work, dedication, and good fortune it has grown to become one of New Mexico’s largest and most award-winning wineries, winning the Premiere Award, presented to the best wine in the state 3 years in a row at the State Wine Competition, 8 gold medals at the 2022 State Competition, and 90+ point scores from national and international publications.

In 2021 Sheehan Winery’s Old Town Tasting room opened in the heart of historic Old Town Albuquerque, we are open 7 days a week from 11am to 8pm, come join us for a warm friendly experience on the plaza in historic Old Town Albuquerque, featuring 20 wines available to taste by glass and more than 40 wines available by the bottle, there is a wine for every palate.
