After drawing the largest crowds in over a decade at The Pit last season, Lobo men’s basketball will be a hot ticket again this season. Led by returning All-Mountain West guards Jamal Mashburn, Jr. and Jaelen House, expectations are high for the 2023-24 New Mexico basketball season. Mashburn and House have joined a group of talented transfers and the Lobos’ highest-rated recruiting class in decades, as the Lobos play six 2023 NCAA Tournament teams at The Pit this upcoming season.
