Butter Valley Golf Course: Butter Valley Golf Course is one of the most unique places in Pennsylvania. Harkers Hollow Golf Club: CARVED ON THE SIDE OF A MOUNTAIN, HARKERS HOLLOW SAVES THE BEST FOR LAST AS YOU COME DOWN THE STRETCH. Carved through tall hardwoods – several of the holes play straightaway, but keep the ball on the "short grass"... "short bentgrass" that is. As long as weather permits, we're open year round. The course is unique in that it is designed on a hillside and the terrain itself presents many challenges. There is no water, but bunkers force you to be strategic. WITH 300 FEET IN ELEVATION CHANGES, HARKERS HOLLOW OFFERS BEAUTIFUL VIEWS AND TREMENDOUS CONDITIONS TO MATCH. The first hole, a challenging par four plays 420 yards from our Championship tee and is one of the most difficult on the course. After that it's up, down to the tune of 300 feet in elevation changes across the mountain which presents different challenges on every hole. The par three fifth is our signature; a par three located at the top of the front nine with a spectacular view. It's so beautiful in fact that many brides have held their wedding from this scenic vista. The seventh is Harkers greatest challenge and number one handicap. It's a 423 yard uphill par four from the back tee with a small green that slopes back to front. The eighth and ninth have Lopatcong Creek meandering through them – avoid the hazard. The par four number 15 offers an incredible view of the entire layout – all of this is capped off with the finishing number 18, a par four with out of bounds on the left and Lopatcong Creek on the right. If you can get to the clubhouse with a par here – you've finished well. SEVERAL HAVE ENJOYED THEIR ROUND SO MUCH HERE... THEY DECIDED TO JOIN THE CLUB! In the summertime the flowers bloom and poolside hammocks are ideal for relaxation in the shade of towering pines. 20-person hot tub and resort-style swimming pool with waterfall add to the club's comforts. The rewards and acknowledges of quality of The Presidential are vast – a prestigious Golf Digest 4-star rating since opening in 1996, a Golf Styles Magazine Top 100 Golf Course, and a ZAGAT Survey Must Play. The Ambassador Course: Although shorter in length at 6,450 yards than its sibling, the elder statesmen Ambassador more than makes up for it in a classic mature design. What seems benign on the scorecard is not the case, as the routing weaves its way through massive 70 foot high hardwoods to gently rolling greens that slope from back to front. Continuously praised from both the occasional as well as the accomplished golfer, the Ambassador is a course for all ages and levels of ability. The Ambassador offers impeccably conditioned fairways and some of the smallest and smoothest putting surfaces in the region.
