Behind the Brand
According to Italian philosophy, meals are an opportunity to spend time with family and friends. A time to enjoy each other’s company and forget about the worries of the day. At Big Jim’s Pizza Co. (formerly La Bella Pizza on Olsen), we create delicious dishes for people to bond over. Our crew serves up some of Amarillo’s tastiest pizza, pasta, and many other mouthwatering eats. We’ve been doing so for almost three decades now!
Since our humble beginning, we have been locally owned and operated. In 2016, Jim and Candy Dewitz took over the Olsen location. This quickly became the new go-to for Amarillo folks craving great food served by friendly faces. The original “La Bella Pizza,” initially opened on Olsen in 2003, is in the process of another upgrade by the Dewitz family. We are excited to announce our name change to Big Jim’s Pizza Co. (formerly La Bella Pizza on Olsen). Of course, we will still offer the same great food our customers know and love.
