Behind the Brand

In 2010, Alexis Negranti wanted to combine her love of animals and her passion for yummy, quality food and decided to start a sheep dairy and make ice cream from the milk. After milking her first flock in 2011, she and her husband have grown their love for ice cream to 3 locations in California and have now allowed Arete Food Group to operate locations in Idaho with the first location opening in downtown Boise in November 2021. We look forward to bringing the benefit of sheep’s milk to the Treasure Valley!
