Behind the Brand
The Gyro Shack story began over a decade ago when Gus Zaharioudakis, a Greek American, decided to introduce Boiseans to the Greek and Mediterranean food he loved. Authentic Greek-Med recipes are at the core of their offerings including what customers describe as the “tzatziki of the gods.” Gyro Shack has also created new American-inspired dishes like The Philly, BLT, and Chicken Bacon Ranch. In addition to gyros and pita sandwiches, the Shack menu also includes fresh, made-to-order rice bowls and salads. From the multiple locations spread throughout the Treasure Valley, Gyro Shack’s reputation and locations are spreading beyond our borders. Who knows? Another decade from now, maybe every state in America will know what it’s like to Go Greek.
