Behind the Brand

The Place is one of the oldest taverns in Buffalo, established in 1867, steeped in tradition and old-world charm.  You will always find a friendly bartender ready to welcome you with a cold, frosty beer from one of the taps that feature beers and ales from great local brewers and from around the globe.  We feature a large selection of wines by the glass or by the bottle, classic cocktails and specials nightly.  Enjoy food prepared to order with the freshest ingredients.  

The Place has been totally remodeled to make the space more efficient and customer friendly.  The Place has been restored to its original charm, coupled with the new elements such as the copper bar top, redocorated backroom and new hardwood oak flooring.  Starting after Thanksgiving, The Place will begin serving Tom and Jerry to help bring in the Cheer of the Holiday Season
