Behind the Brand

In addition to the mouthwatering, hand carved, slow roasted prime rib used to make the beef on ‘weck (an homage to the original Eckl’s in Orchard Park, which has since closed) Eckl’s @ Larkin also boasts a robust lunch menu featuring starters, handhelds, soups and salads, as well as an elevated dinner menu featuring steaks, chops, seafood, pasta, and appetizers. Chef Mahony’s noteworthy signature dishes include: beef on ‘weck rolls (shaved prime rib wrapped in eggroll wrapper and lightly fried, served with horseradish sauce); a sophisticated steak sandwich (roasted banana pepper pesto, caramelized onions, roasted garlic and blue cheese) and a 20oz. bone-in ribeye (paired with andouille sausage and potato hash, asparagus and a red wine demi-glace). 

Eckl’s @ Larkin made a splash at their debut in 2018, due in large part to the elegant décor and unique variety of comfortable and intimate seating options to suite private groups of all sizes. The restaurant opens its garage doors in warmer months to overlook Larkin Square.  Designed by owner, Jim Cornell, and assisted by interior designer Beth Zulinke-Dames, the Eckl’s @ Larkin aesthetic features plush, textured fabrics, warm mahogany paneling, coffered ceilings with copper tiles, rock crystal chandeliers, faux snakeskin and an extensive, showstopping hammered copper bar.
