Based on Western New York's love of Southern Junction (Texas meets Southern Indian Barbecue), the new restaurant concept - the first stand-alone brick-and-mortar by chef-owner Ryan Fernadez - is stellar. Fernandez was born in Kerala, India, and was raised near Dallas, Texas - hence the fusion aspect of the menu.
Southern Junction got its start on Chandler Street in the Food E Incubator building. At that location, customers would place an order at a window, wait for their food, and then take it away to eat. Now with this sit-down concept, diners can relax all they want, as their food is expertly prepared.
