Behind the Brand
Based on Western New York's love of Southern Junction (Texas meets Southern Indian Barbecue), the new restaurant concept - the first stand-alone brick-and-mortar by chef-owner Ryan Fernadez - is stellar. Fernandez was born in Kerala, India, and was raised near Dallas, Texas - hence the fusion aspect of the menu.
Southern Junction got its start on Chandler Street in the Food E Incubator building. At that location, customers would place an order at a window, wait for their food, and then take it away to eat. Now with this sit-down concept, diners can relax all they want, as their food is expertly prepared.
Come pre-game with us, and if you're staying local, stick around to watch the game! We're opening at 10am on Sundays so y'all have time to get your smoked meat tacos, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, and drinks before game time!
