Behind the Brand

Hanzlian Sausage Inc. was founded in 1999 by two brothers, David & George Hanzlian. They outfitted the family garage into a processing room and used recipes from their father, who co-owned a meat market with his two brothers years earlier. They took their products in refrigerated trucks to sell at Farmer’s Markets throughout Western New York. A few years later, their brother Tom was brought in to help grow the company.  Our company buys local wherever possible and uses several local and New York State suppliers.
