What we do know is this: one day, Doug rolled into Urbandale, bought a modest corner pub on Douglas Ave, scribbled a few secret recipes on the back of a napkin, and then vanished. We think to Mexico? No one’s seen him since. In his absence, Doug left the keys—and the legend—in the capable hands of Ron and Tricia, who’ve been carrying on the legacy with a few updates, a lot of heart, and just enough mystery to keep people wondering: “Who is Doug?” So pull up a stool.
