Eagle Springs, formally known as DeFuniak Springs Country Club, has been an essential part of DeFuniak Springs and Walton County, Florida for the past 94 years and is on Florida’s Historic Golf Trail with The Division of Historical Resources by the State of Florida. It was founded in 1924 by DeFuniak Springs businessmen for the enjoyment of the townspeople and to attract tourists.
Eagle Springs is an 18 hole golf course that sits on 194 acres of land including five beautiful spring-fed lakes. Eagle Springs also has a newly renovated swimming pool and plans to add a walking trail, tennis or pickleball court, basketball court, fishing pier, and more.
Sunny Hills Golf Club is one of Florida's best kept secrets. Located only 45 minutes north of Panama City and 12 miles south of Interstate 10, in Chipley, Florida, it is a diamond in the rough waiting to be experienced by visitors near and far. The old style course offers the perfect blend of challenge and playability.
The 18-hole Sunny Hills Golf Club is a public golf course open 7 days a week. The Course opened in 1974 and was designed by Gene Sarazen and Ken Venturi, Sunny Hills Golf Club measures 7,095 yards from the longest tees and has a slope rating of 120 and a 73.4 USGA rating. The course features 4 sets of tees for different skill levels. The greens are bermuda grass and the fairways are bermuda grass.
