Behind the Brand
Lisa was born and raised in a small town outside of Tampa, FL. She owned horses and loved to draw. At 31, she moved to Dallas, TX and had two beautiful children. There she discovered a candy store that also sold popcorn tins, which she loved giving as holiday gifts.
A few years later, Lisa and her family moved to Huntsville, AL, and she was constantly searching for a store that sold popcorn like the one she found in Dallas. To her surprise, there wasn’t a single store, so she was forced to shop online. Her online shopping opened her eyes to the wide variety of gourmet popcorn flavors available, and that’s when her dream was born.
Lisa wanted to show Huntsville what they were missing when it came to this delicious, popular snack. With the support of her daughter and husband, she finally pursued her dream of opening a store. Finally, after many taste tests with friends and family, she perfected her many flavor varieties and opened her first location on July 9, 2011, and has since expanded her love of gourmet popcorn to multiple point-of-purchase kiosks, and a food truck.
