Clinchview Golf & Country Club - Clinchview Golf Club in Bean Station, Tennessee, is more than just an excellent golf course. It is also a community-minded operation with reasonable green fees and great views of the Smoky Mountains.
It’s a family-owned, family-run operation with family in mind. You can bring a cooler of beer and the Keck family won’t mind, but they don’t sell alcohol on the premises: Churches and schools are some of their best customers. On top of that, it’s a fine golf course. The Keck family bought it back in the mid-80s and has been steadily putting money into it. They re-built the cart paths, renovated the irrigation system and re-designed and planted new landscaping. All the tee boxes are attractive.
They lengthened the course, installed some bunkers – where there had not been a single one previously – and added women’s and senior’s tees. They also did some lovely stonework, in the form of walls and small stone bridges that take you over what little water there is.
Sevierville Golf Club – River Course - Sevierville Golf Club, recently recognized by Golf Advisor as one of top 50 US Courses, offers the services, amenities, and presentation of a high-quality private club on a daily fee basis.
The Sevierville Golf Club features two 18-hole championship courses: The Highlands, a par 70 that winds through lush rolling hills and fresh water mountain ponds and The River, a par 72 that plays along and across the Little Pigeon River. The club now offers a 9-hole play which runs along the front side of the Highlands course and is fun for all skill levels.
Amenities at the Sevierville Golf Club include an extensive driving range, expansive putting green as well as a chipping area all to help work on and fine tune your game. The private dining facilities can accommodate larger groups for golf outings or business meetings, family gatherings, birthdays or any other type of private function. Optional buffet menu to choose from or simply rent the space and bring your own!
Whittle Springs - Recently named 'No. 4 Most Improved Course in U.S.' by Golf Advisor in 2018, golfers have long enjoyed playing Whittle Springs, Knoxville’s first public golf course. The course has undergone many incarnations over its storied 75-plus year history, with Whittle Springs offering a fun and enjoyable golfing experience for everyone. Whether you are playing from the par 71, 4,781-yard front tees to the par 70, 5,729-yard back tees, the classic design has small bent grass greens that vary in undulation, and sloping Bermuda fairways.
Ruggles Ferry Golf Course - Ruggles Ferry Golf Club is located 5 minutes off Interstate 40 between Knoxville TN, and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge in the scenic hills of east Tennessee. We provide excellent playing conditions to the public golfer in a friendly atmosphere, with one of the best layouts in the Knoxville area, and in all of East Tennessee. Our bentgrass greens and bermuda-grass fairways are some of the best maintained in the area. With 4 sets of tees, golfers of every skill level are sure to have a challenging and enjoyable experience.
Knoxville Municipal Golf Course - Knoxville Municipal Golf Course is known for its scenic views as well as a fun and enjoyable golfing experience for players of all ages and abilities. Built by the Roberts family, and crafted by architect D.J. Devictor, we opened to play in the spring of 1984. The facility has been managed by nationally renowned Billy Casper Golf since 2007, which owns or operates over 140 courses throughout the US. The course meanders through rolling hills, running streams and, if you’re lucky, some natural wildlife. The manicured Bermuda fairways and Bentgrass greens make the perfect playing surface for 6,413 yards of golf. In addition to the unique golfing experience, players are offered a variety of southern comfort foods at the Clubhouse Deli, including Knoxville Municipal’s famous Chili Dog. Local players and those visiting from afar choose Knoxville Municipal Golf Course for our one-of-a-kind experience; an experience built on a fun and enjoyable round of golf, casual atmosphere and the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The Knox Muni experience is truly one which must be had!
The Greens at Deerfield - The Greens at Deerfield is a 18 Hole Par 71 6,700 yard Championship Golf Course located on scenic Norris Lake in East Tennessee open to the public. We have 5 sets of tees measuring from 5700 yards to 4400 yards, and most players will use all the clubs in the bag. The front nine flows thru the valley and wraps around the lake, while the back nine is carved out thru the hillside and plateau. Each nine has a signature hole. Number 3 requires two carries over Norris Lake from the Men’s tee and provides a unique ambiance with views of the Deerfield Cove Marina and “Famed Tikki Hut."
The course opened in 1995 and excels in superior course conditions and good ole’ Tennessee southern hospitality. Our bent grass greens and bermuda fairways are in superb shape, and the views of Norris Lake are incredible.
Our guests have a chance to play a course with scenic views of the mountains, Norris lake, and unique changes in elevation. One of our signature holes, #16, is a Par 4 that drops off over 300 feet from the tee! Furthermore, we are one of the few courses where you can arrive by car, boat or even plane.
Tanasi Golf Course - The Tanasi Golf Course and Clubhouse opened in 1996 and was the second of the three courses built in Tellico Village. The 18-hole layout incorporates Tellico Lake to enhance the beauty of the facility and features Crenshaw bentgrass greens and Bermuda Fairways. Tanasi is much different than the other Village courses in its design. It is more open and has much bigger greens.
Holes 8, 9 and 10 bring the lake into play off the tee, offering some of the most scenic and challenging holes on the course. This championship course has seven sets of tees that play from 6,731 yards to 4,480 yards. The course is loaded with tough elevated greens characterized by undulation and surrounding bunkers. Tanasi’s 9th hole is a short driving hole to a three-tiered, downward-sloping fairway with a unique approach shot over a portion of Tellico Lake. The course also boasts some fun holes, including the double-dogleg par 5-hole number 13, and subsequent hole 14- a par 3 that requires the golfer to hit over a small pond onto an elevated green that slopes to the front.
Tanasi Has an 18-hole putting green as well as a complete clubhouse. The Tanasi Clubhouse’s wrap-around portico invites visitors to kick back, relax, and take in the spectacular lake and golf course views. The restaurant offers appetizing lunch and dinner options for golfers and guests.
Dandridge Golf and Country Club - Jefferson County is rapidly becoming synonymous with great golf. As one of the first golf courses built in the area, Dandridge Golf & Country Club has developed a reputation as an enjoyable round of golf for the beginner or the seasoned professional.
The original 18 holes, designed by Dan Maples, meanders its way through valleys, hills, and woodlands. Then, in 1991, nine more holes were added with the same characteristics or the original design, bringing the area’s first 27-hole golf complex. And if the course itself doesn’t offer enough scenic beauty, you will often find yourself pausing to admire the views of the Great Smokey Mountains and Douglas Lake. Dandridge offers the same lush Bermuda fairways and bent grass green as its sister course (Patriot Hills).
All combinations are par-72 and measure approximately 6,100 yards from the back tees, 5,800 yards from the regular tees, and 4,900 yards from the forward tees. Dandridge is a public course.
