Meadowbrook Golf Course: Meadowbrook Golf Course is Lexington’s only short course, featuring holes ranging in length from 87 to 270 yards. This course is ideal for both seasoned golfers and those hitting the links for the first time. The small sloping greens and elevation changes will help sharpen skills and the short course distance makes for a good introduction to the game.

Kearney Hills Golf Links: Kearney Hill Golf Links is a premier public golf course, located in northwest Fayette County. It is a Scottish links-style course, characterized by deep sand and grass bunkers, sparse trees, and open, rolling terrain. The specific landscape makes wind a prominent factor when playing Kearney Hill.  

Gay Brewer, Jr. Course at Picadome: Formerly known as the Campbell House Country Club, Picadome was built in 1927 as the first public golf course in central Kentucky. It is located within New Circle Road and offers a challenging, yet convenient golf get-away. The course is old-style with small undulating greens and tree-lined fairways with tight landing areas. The facility also features a swimming pool, pro shop, grill, and banquet room. Picadome also offers Lexington’s only Footgolf course. Go to Picadome Footgolf for details and rates.

Lakeside Golf Course: Lakeside Golf Course is a local favorite. It opened in July 1970 and is situated on approximately 185 acres, adjacent to Jacobson Park and Jacobson Lake.  It features large greens, rolling terrain, and the longest par-5 in the state at more than 600 yards. Other amenities at the course include a pro shop, banquet space, a snack bar, and a full-line practice facility that includes two tees and three practice greens.

Tates Creek Golf Course: Tates Creek Golf Course is located on 125 acres in the heart of the Gainesway subdivision. The course features tight fairways, sloping greens, and water hazards on two holes. The facility also includes an aquatic center, a large banquet room, a short game practice area, a golf shop, and a snack bar.
