This Milaca golf course itself is a gem, challenging the serious golfer with a thought-provoking layout while at the same time relaxing the casual player with its wonder and scenic beauty. Two holes are adjacent to the Rum River. Six holes intertwine O’Neill Brook, and on many other holes, ponds come into play. In 2000, the course welcomed 11 new holes next to the forest and shifting terrain. This addition gave the Stones Throw Golf Course a much-appreciated facelift. The course has continued to mature wonderfully, with each hole developing its own distinct character. The course is a par 70, the distance ranges from 4,740 yards to 6,103, depending on which tees a golfer selects, and it has a rating of 70.2.
Falcon Ridge is a fun 27- hole golf course located just 30 miles north of St. Paul. Located just east of the city of Mora (pop. 3,571) Spring Brook Golf Course and Country Club offers guests a beautiful 18-hole championship layout that can test the skills of even the most elite players. The Front nine holes allow players ample room to hit the rolling fairways, but miss any of the elevated, well-bunkered greens, and bogey or worse is likely. The Back nine holes are literally cut out of the woods and lowlands of the property. Short and tight fairways force players to use every club in their bag. The slippery slopes of the back-side greens emphasize the importance of well-placed approach shots.
