Description
The Crescent Theater in Mobile, Alabama originally opened in 1885 as a vaudeville and burlesque theater. In 1912, it was converted to show silent films. After various uses, including as a restaurant, the theater was rebuilt and reopened in October 2008. Now owned and operated by Laugh Mobile, a partnership of comedy producers in Mobile and across the Gulf Coast, The Crescent Theater will stay true to it’s cinematic roots while also while also establishing itself as the only full time(ish) comedy club in the city.
