Thunder Island, known as the biggest small park around was born in 1979 with a go-kart track. While some attractions come and go with trends, go-karts still remain popular today. While notable past attractions included a Big Eli 16 Ferris wheel transplanted from the location of the movie "Big", a helicopter ride, cross country skiing, the hottest BMX track on the east coast and bumper boats, today the park seems have all the right stuff.
