Hindman Park Golf Course

Hindman Park Golf Course is identified as the most challenging of Little Rock’s municipal golf courses, this 103-acre, 18-hole course offers Champion Bermuda greens, rolling terrain and narrow tree-lined fairways.  With its natural setting, Hindman has been certified as an “Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary”, featuring a variety of wildlife.

Hindman Park occupies 210 acres of gently-rolling, tree covered land adjacent to one of the principal tributaries of Fourche Creek in the southeastern part of the city. The development of Hindman Park began in 1965 with the construction of a ballfield and playground. The 18-hole golf course and clubhouse were developed in 1971, with assistance from the U.S. Bureau of Outdoor Recreation.

First Tee of Central Arkansas

The First Tee of Central Arkansas – features a 18-hole regulation course (Chairman’s Course) with three sets of tees.  Course length ranges from 2198 yards to 3428 yards.  The facility also boasts a 9-hole par-3 course (Honors Course), with holes ranging from 48 yards to 113 yards.  Now open for adults to play!

Since 2001, our 16-acre driving range has been perennially ranked in the Top 100 Driving Ranges for public facilities. The range consists of 6 target greens ranging from 80-325 yards for all types of shots. Other than the driving range, our premier practice area also has 2 large putting greens and a chipping area.

All proceeds made from our course help fund our programming to kids all around Central Arkansas. Becoming a member is more than just playing golf, you are directly helping us make a positive impact on our community! The First Tee of Central Arkansas uses golf to teach youth life lessons and leadership skills. Sessions include a fun, group setting for youth ages 5 to 17 regardless of background or previous experience. Teaming up with experts in positive youth development, The First Tee helps youth become good golfers and even better people.

War Memorial Golf Course

War Memorial Golf Course- With its location within the heart of Little Rock, this 90-acre, 18-hole urban executive course offers any golfer an opportunity to sharpen their skills. With its unique par 64 layout and Champion Bermuda grass greens, War Memorial offers quality golfing that is convenient because of its location and playtime.

War Memorial Park occupies 202 acres of tree-covered, gently rolling land bisected by Coleman Creek in the western part of the city, including the street layout and the locations of the golf course, zoo, midway and stadium.  President Harry Truman presided at the ceremonies in 1949 when the park was renamed “War Memorial Park”.

Burns Park Golf Course

Burns Park Golf Course is Central Arkansas’s only 36 hole public golf course.  Featuring two 18-hole golf courses located along the Arkansas River- The Championship Course & Tournament Course.  The Heritage Room; formerly the clubhouse has been completely renovated and is now available for rental 7 days a week for events with space up to 100 people.

The Championship Course, home of The Arkansas Open Golf Championship with tree-lined fairways, several well placed sand traps and water hazards that come into play on at least nine holes. Opened since in 1968, the Championship Course has undergone several renovation with new “mini-verdi” greens, new Championship “Black Tees” and new cart paths.  Very enjoyable from the forward tees while extremely challenging from the Black Tees at nearly 7000 yards.

The Tournament Course is also tree-lined and laid out around the driving range with an enclosed pavilion that is perfect for group outings.  The Tournament Course is a shorter, player friendly venue while still challenging enough for the best and forgiving so the occasional golfer will still have fun.  Ladies and Senior Tees are available. 

Diamondhead Golf Club
