Benefits of Summer Camp The Girl Scouts of NYPENN Pathways Council (GSNYPENN) is proud to be the home of four distinct camp properties in New York State that carry on the tradition of Girl Scouting in the outdoors: Camp Amahami in Deposit, Camp Comstock in Ithaca, Camp Hoover in Tully and Camp Trefoil in Harrisville. All properties host summer camp and year-round programing. Depending on location, campers can attend day, overnight, troop core or family camp. You don’t have to be a Girl Scout or even a girl to attend our day camps. Council camp properties are also available for rent by Girl Scout members and the public. Attending camp builds courage, confidence and character by connecting youth to the natural world around them. Campers learn leadership skills, build social connections with peers and trusted adults, try new things, challenge themselves, learn to take safe risks in a nurturing environment and explore the wonders of nature. There truly is a place for everyone at our GSNYPENN camps!
Camp Comstock: Ithaca, N.Y. (Tompkins County)
Enjoy the unique natural surroundings at this day camp situated along the shores of Cayuga Lake. Campers will explore nature, try new things like archery and fishing, and build lifelong friendships at Comstock! Busing is available from Ithaca for an additional fee (exact locations still TBD). “Sweet Deals” Eligible 2025 Day Camp Sessions: ● Enchanted Forest: July 7-11 (all genders, entering grades 1-8) ● Creative Campers Mini Session: July 28-30 (all genders, entering grades 1-8) ● Magic & Mischief: August 4-8 (all genders, entering grades 1-8) ● Ahoy, Comstock Mateys: August 11-15 (all genders, entering grades 1-8) ● Prehistoric Party: August 18-22 (all genders, entering grades 1-8)
Camp Hoover: Tully, N.Y. (Onondaga County)
Kids always have a blast at this day camp nestled on the shores of beautiful Song Lake.
